After sadly finding out we lost our baby last Dece

After sadly finding out we lost our baby last December we are so excited to be sharing all my hard work! Last December at our first ultrasound there was no heartbeat and that was hard to swallow. After some serious healing we are so excited to share this little baby that will soon join our family.

I shed a lot of tears during that loss and honestly was very worried in the beginning of this pregnancy about this new little babe.

I have worked hard to eat really well, exercise regularly, and heal my mind to be the best I can be for this little baby.

A few weeks ago we finally got to see the baby and it was such a blessing and brought so much peace. We hope to meet our little babe in November but no matter what happens we are enjoying them as a family for as long as we get them!

Sharing stories together, laughing about the ridiculous things our kids are doing, and unconditional support is something every mom needs, especially a new mom who is navigating this 180 change.

There is something truly magical about coming together in the midst of motherhood chaos, knowing that we are not alone in the journey.

Every chaotic moment to spontaneous dance party is a reminder of the resilience we possess as mothers.

Whether it's due to low milk supply, latch issues, or simply personal choice, supplementing with formula can be a game-changer for many moms—and that's okay! It's about meeting our babies' needs while also taking care of ourselves.

Some moms love the newborn phase, but for many it is not what they expected. It is hard and you start wondering if there is something wrong with you.
You are not alone. It is very challenging! You are taking on a huge shift in your life, learning a whole new set of skills, while being expected to jump right back into your live with ease.

Stop. Breathe. Remind your self this is a phase. One day my baby will smile at me. One day he will be giving me big belly laughs. And one day I will get a full night of sleep again. Try to find beauty where you are and know that the hard things will one day be a distant memory. Just keep going! You got this Mama!

Over here we don’t shirk away from the uncomfortable topics. Postpartum constipation is a struggle for over 20% of new moms so let’s be prepared! Why are you experiencing constipation postpartum?

Hormones: increased levels of progesterone can slow down bowel movements leading to constipation.

Pain medication: if you had an epidural or narcotics during labor or postpartum this can also slow down your gut. One of the most common side effects of narcotics is constipation.

Dehydration: you may be experiencing dehydration for several reasons. Breastfeeding, sweating, blood loss, or insufficient intake. Your intestines job is to draw out fluid to use in your body leading up harder stools.

Reduced physical activities: most women postpartum spend a lot of time resting and recovering. This lack of mobility slows down gut motility.

Iron supplementation: you may be taking iron supplements to replenish low iron levels after birth. These supplements can also cause constipation.

Episiotomy or perineal tears: pain and discomfort of episiotomy or perineal tear can lead to painful bowel movements. It can lead to fear and holding back stools and constipation.

Use this tips to combat and prevent constipation postpartum!

That first trimester hits you like a ton of bricks and for some never ends. For 70% of pregnant moms, you will experience some form of nausea and/or vomiting during your pregnancy.

It is one of the most commonly hated pregnancy symptom, so I have some tips to ease your suffering and allow you some brighter days ahead.
